Is MilkBoy the next Point? While there is still no word from Point Entertainment about a new venue for their great coffee-shop performances, MilkBoy quietly opened in February at 2 E. Lancaster Ave. in Ardmore (610-645-5269). It’s a 100-seat place serving coffee and the typical coffee-shop sweets and sandwiches menu. A visit to their smartly designed (but frustratingly unusable) website suggests a similar performer pool to The Point — acts like Jim Boggia and Jeffrey Gaines are booked for April. Since MilkBoy is a bit smaller than The Point, national acts such as Norah Jones, Rhett Miller and Matt Nathanson may be out of the question. (But we’ll have to wait and see…)
